Butterfly Wings

Butterflies are the stars of the show in my garden; I like watching them float from flower to flower and seeing which flowers they like best. I take as many photos for reference as possible so I can recreate them in metal. These pieces are made from solid sheet metal, all shaping and textures are made through hammering techniques, see more about my processes here.
