Hand hammered solid brass Black Swallowtail butterfly wing earrings. Made through chasing and repousse, a traditional silversmithing method that requires hammering in every detail from the front and the backside of solid sheet. These earrings are 3D relief style and strong, with a lot of details. I used a drawing I made of an actual butterfly so I could create an accurate representation of their patterns. Ear wires are solid sterling silver.
Measures approximately 2.125" long x 1.25" wide, x 3/8"deep. Comes in a gift ready jewelry box, ships in eco friendly packaging.
Handcrafted in Maine USA.
